Built 1836 and located at 29 Lyton Street, Blacktown.
A convict-built single storey cottage constructed from sandstone
bricks and built in 1836. The cottage was
originally part of the Royal Navy's Captain Robert Lethbridge's 700
acre Flushcombe Estate.
Consists of a single storey masonry dwelling with a galvanised iron
hipped roof and separately roofed verandah.
In 2003 the cottage housed a medical specialist. As of 2007 it is again
vacant and appears to have been that way since at least mid 2006.
One of the oldest surviving structures in the Blacktown region.
