Probably built before 1910. Was located at 49 Clifton Street, Blacktown.
A single storey weatherboard dwelling with protruding gable bay,
steeply pitched galvanised iron roof and bull-nose verandah. The
verandah is supported by timber posts with decorative timber brackets
and balustrade. The windows are protected by typical sunhoods. A picket
fence compliments the house.
This house was demolished early 2005 for the construction of a bus
transitway which runs alongside Sunnyholt Road. It was apparently
very similiar in appearance to the neighbouring house, 47 Clifton St,
which remains standing.
