The Rouse Hill Anglican Church was licensed 11th July, 1863, but was
not consecrated until 19th November, 1878 after a chancel, designed by
Edmund Thomas Blackett, had been added. A neighbouring school was built
around the same time but abandoned in 1888 and demolished in 1908 to
make way for the construction of the church hall.
Prior to 2003 the building was home to the Kellyville parish.
In 2003 a new church complex was completed in neaby Kellyville and the
Rouse Hill site remained vacant for several years. A new church complex
has recently been built on the site and the new parish of Rouse Hill
now makes its home here.
