Edgar's daughter, Florence, emigrated to South Africa, while young, was a war correspondent and died in Durban, Natal State, South Africa, sometime in the early 1980's. Unless otherwise specified, all locations are in NSW, Australia. Kingsland is a suburb of London, in the district of Islington, a few miles to the north of the city centre. "Pt. Eliz." is Port Elizabeth, which is in South Africa. "Parra." is Parramatta, which is to the west of Sydney, Australia. Oxley is in West Yorkshire, on the River Wharfe.
